Interim Project Manager | Asset Management | Home Counties | £ Neg

As a member of the asset management team this post is directly responsible for leading effective programme and project management to deliver key regeneration projects in the Borough.

To support the service lead regeneration by ensuring the Council’s asset management plan and associated capital investment strategy is prepared, effectively deployed and delivered, progress monitored and the source information kept fully up to date and:

Manage and procure a portfolio of construction projects through the commissioning of Consultants and Contractors.

Cost control of an allocated section of the Council’s approved Capital and Revenue Programmes

Liaise with building users and service departments to enhance effective asset management, building use and asset intelligence

The ideal candidate will be a planning or development surveyor/quantity surveyor who has substantial experience of:

    • delivering mixed-use housing-led regeneration project projects
    • working knowledge of construction costs and residential/commercial sales values in the south east
    • substantial experience of undertaking and scrutinising development appraisals
    • working knowledge of joint ventures between local authorities and private sector partners
